- Discussion occurred regarding whether the current invite code system is achieving its goals, with the concern that some invited users do not have success in becoming integrated into the chat. There are suggestions to improve mentor and staff visibility of new users and suggestions to decrease rate of invitation accumulation.
- Discussion occurred regarding whether staff are 'visible' or obvious enough (with just italicization of names), with suggestions of icons or tags to increase visibility, after reports from some users that the italics or their meaning are not obvious.
- Discussion occurred regarding the best way to respond to especially offensive language (e.g. slurs). Due to strong divisions in views, it will probably be brought up as a user topic before further progress is made (in contrast to other staff topics, with which the staff generally composes some set of possible approaches before going to the userbase in a townhall).
- Discussion occurred regarding the rules related to user ownership of images, in terms of what is permissive to display on the page versus what is permissible to link and when direct attribution is required. The general 'by you or for you' requirement for images posted on a profile continues to have strong support, but how to avoid selective or ad-hoc 'enforcement' of images in violation of the rule raises challenges.
