Discussed at this meeting

- Proceeding from discussion at the previous townhall, discussion occurs of restricting registration by distribution of 'invite codes' to existing members of the chat over time. Technical details of the implementation of this scheme are discussed.
- In response to user concerns that this raises an uncomfortable feeling of being a 'gated community', discussion occurs of having a 'Mentor Program' by which community-minded users can volunteer to help teach new users and help them acclimate to the spirit of the chat, in order to provide another means of easing registration.
- A provisional moderator-manual was presented, discussed, and refined, with the goal of eventually creating a Moderator's Manual that would also serve to explain the moderator role and responsibilities to interested users.
Subsequent outcomes from this meeting
- New moderators were ultimately appointed.
- Registration was unfrozen with the implementation of the invite system.
- Planning for the Mentor System was initiated.
- The Moderator Manual was further refined.
- The Game Room was upgraded in response to user requests (Roll IC User, optional whisper-logging for games.)
