Discussed at this meeting
- In response to user feedback, discussion occurred regarding additional scheduling, brainstorming, and running of games. The central concern was how to provide variety to allow games and events to be more engaging to more people, out of the perception that current offerings have become stale and less well-attended.
- In response to user feedback, discussion of 'theming' the IC room differently from one day to the next occurred, with the goal of sparking more use of and interaction within the room.
- Retrospective discussion of the Vore Secret Santa occurred, identifying shortcomings and ways to mitigate those shortcomings in the future.
- Discussion occurred regarding community atmosphere, the new-user experience, and the intimidating nature of the large room where all activity currently tends to be concentrated.
- Discussion of improving announcements-systems occurred, so as to make it easier for users to be aware of events and planning in which they can participate, and improving feedback-systems so as to better receive and track user concerns and suggestions.
- The concern was raised that many suggestions from past townhalls have not yet been attempted or implemented, in order to keep discussion of efforts to undertake grounded in the realm of what users have expressed desire for.
- Discussion of ongoing site-login-experience redesign efforts occurred, centered around mockups and ideal featureset.
