Many eons ago, a hero arose from a small village. The village and the hero all vary in name and setting, but the story remains the same: this hero, clad in a sacred green, traveled his world to gather strength and fight the forces of evil. With a blade of holy light and a golden courage, the hero sought out a series of mystical artifacts with which to combat those who would threaten his world.

Now, in this century, at this hour, the hero has returned.

Link is a rather odd creature. He's a mouse who walks on two legs, is the size of a human twelve-year-old, wears outdated green clothing, and carries a sword and shield around despite only being twelve. And there's that weird triangle mark on the back of his left hand, but that's not important. What's important is his quest! Yes, Link's going on the quintessential hunt for the legendary Master Sword, and his journey has taken him to this odd place. With courage and strength, he's sure he'll find the blade in no time!

Link has a strange tendency to gravitate towards larger creatures, particularly predatory ones. Somewhere in his little mind he's mixed up the idea that heroes exist to aid those in need with trying to feed these hungry predators. Often times, he'll even go as far as feeding himself to someone, and possibly even getting digested! Of course, he also has a strange tendency to reappear afterwards, having lost only a quarter of a heart, so it probably isn't that bad. Probably.

As mentioned above, he mostly wields a little kid-sized sword and shield, as well as the following trinkets:

Deku Nuts
Palm-sized fruit found in forested areas. When thrown, they create a blinding flash that stuns enemies for a short time.

Bombs
A present from Zurui, these little explosives are useful for taking down damaged walls and tossing into convenient enemy receptacles.

Ocarina
An ocarina carved from wood. Nothing particularly exciting in of itself, but music has many powers, so it should prove useful soon enough.

-Songs
Song of Healing ( < > v < > v): an eerie melody from a far away land, this song is used to bring peace to weary souls, often turning them into masks.

Goldie's Song ( ^ > < ^ > < ): a down-home tune taught by Goldie to summon her if Link is ever in need.

Business Card
A business card from one of Link's friends in a far away land...

Scales
Reptillian scales also from the aforementioned friend.

Bottles
Two empty glass bottles. Nothing special in of themselves, but they can be used to hold things like potions, fairies, micros, etc.

Silver Mask
A rather sad-looking mask, much like the shield in this picture. Link created this when he played the Song of Healing to restore himself after a mean silver... thing turned him into a silver being. While under the effect of this mask, Link becomes silver, increasing his weight. He'll sink right to the bottom of any body of water, and can walk across magnetic surfaces, but is weak to fire and ice.

Nimbat Mask
A mask given to Link by Rhea. It lets him turn into a nimbat, a small bat-like creature found in Dust: An Elysian Tail. He's much smaller in this form, allowing him to fit into tight spaces, and he can fly.

Scarf
A scarf made by Dezzy. It grants Link fire resistance and warms him up in cold places.

Necklace
A necklace from Firestarter, which lets him breathe when he otherwise couldn't, such as underwater or in deep space.

Cursed Amulet
A rather nasty piece of work by Kiba. It'll turn any unfortunate wearer partially into a feral horse, and it can only be removed by someone other than the wearer.

Master Candy
Small pink candies given to Link by AxleGear. According to the inventor, they're highly addictive, carry a risk of "childhood obesity", and have an "unusual aphrodisiac effect", whatever those are.

Profile more or less ambulatory; may develop further...
