Axle is a somewhat normal example of an old-world thylacine. His fur is a soft tan color, being more of a yellowed white creme underside, and of course with the typical black stripes of a thylacine. He was neither cut and buff, nor thin, but rather a wiry and firm build. He had a typical stiff tail and a long, toothy muzzle that excelled in giving unsettling sized grins.
On his head were a pair of world-war one style aviator's goggles, which never seem to move. He rarely wears them over his eyes, and absolutely never removes them from his head. He also typically wore a black leather jacket, open in the front. It was sleek and seemed to herald from a day when motorcycles and grease-slicked hairstyles were the epitome of style. More often than not, he carried a chrome zippo and smoked djarum black kreteks, mixing his own strong, dusty and masculine musk with the faintly flowery firewood aroma of burning cloves. He wore no pants, making it clear he had proper marsupial anatomy.
Of note were his eyes, the left having a queer purple color, and the right being a deep brown.

Personality wise, he was difficult to pin down. He was often grumpy and egotistical, but also kind and compassionate. Often moody, and often silly and outgoing. Usually introverted and placing pride in intellect.

His hobbies include computer hardware, electronics, electronic engineering, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, philosophy, and theoretical or fringe science.

He is bisexual with a moderate male preference.
