Rosomak

A massive beast standing roughly five foot at the shoulder, one would be forgiven for assuming Rosomak is a bear at first glance, with his bulky, predatory form... But there's a few definite things that would tell otherwise. Rather than the roughly blocky head most bears have, his is wedge-shaped, with ears set lower on the skull, his upper canines showing just past his chops. Another is the rather striking variation in color, with a dark umber facial mask, legs and rump, tawny hood and cape that darkens to a golden brown, as well as the golden stripes that run along his flanks from forelegs to cover the base of his tail, which is far longer and bushier than the little nubbin most ursines sport. His legs, too, differ; longer overall with his rump higher than his shoulders, each ending with snowshoe paws, digits tipped with long, ivory claws... In short, this beast is a massive member of the species Gulo gulo; the wolverine, also known as carcajou or glutton, and he certainly seems to fit the lattermost moniker, given the healthy layer of padding he maintains under his glossy, shaggy pelt.
