A Wild Zorgoia Appears!

Zorgoia: a race of creatures that seem like an amalgamation of creatures much like how the platypus is. A typical zorgoia stands roughly the height of the average humanoid, and roughly twice-and-change that length. They have a relatively basic quadripedal shape, not unlike a canid or feline, however they are longer in length (Think Dashund). Large ears, a rabbit-like nose, and a lengthy tail with a carapace-like sheath around a stinger like a fluffy scorpion. His jaws can gape much, much wider than most creatures, the better to engulf larger prey. Their insides, whatever colour they might be, tend to glow with bioluminescense. Their stomachs are extremely powerful, breaking down most matter into nutrients and to refill their venom sacs, which carry a potent paralytic agent. Their most notible adaptation is their spine. Able to stretch to seemingly impossible lengths, a zorgoia can extend their body to reach heights or to wrap themselves snake-like around prey. All in all, they are very successful hunters. Those consumed usually do not have to fear a final death, as through processes unknown they can revive creatures they devour.

Dirt, Dust, Sand, Sun, and Bones

Rezhimi himself has a pelt that looks like a layered, swirling mix of browns, oranges, reds, and tans. This matches his homeland of a badlands area of Alberta's mid-south regions in Canada. The flesh of his insides tend to very slowly change over the course of hours, shifting from light tan to a more orange hue. Rezhimi is, himself, an archaeologist, and to aid him in his profession he can be sometimes be seen with a small saddle-bag like pack near his hindlegs, carrying all of his tools to extricate fossils from the fossil-rich landscape of his home. Perhaps a bit more scholarly than his kin, his particular specialty is researching anchient relatives of his species to document their evolution.

How Rezhimi Ticks

The zorgoia archaeologist is usually found alone, going on solitary trips to known boneyards. It's not that he prefers to be alone, it's just that with so few trained in the particulars of his job he doesn't want to run the risk of any important finds being damaged by an unskilled hand. He loves being out in the sun and nature, prefering to remain outdoors and have gatherings around a communal campfire than to be indoors. He prefers the feel of the small town of Drumheller near his prefered workspace over larger cities, having a small office inside of the geological department of the city's municipal office, with frequent collaboration with the Royal Tyrell Museum. He is usually affable, polite, pretty nerdy, reads a lot, and occasionally does enjoy things of the modern world, like movies, video and board games, and vehicles when he needs to make a trip to a city (though they're usually quick day trips).

The Predator Behind the Scholar

While he can subsist on fair most omnivores can eat, his physiology and mental health requires him to hunt living creatures from time to time. Usually he finds wild animals to eat and, depending on his mood, may or may not reform them (After all, it's natural in nature for the weak to eat the strong). However, there are situations when a sentient has made their way down his gullet. Most of the time it's a fossil poacher or someone messing with his research sites, etc. He has been known to eat people he likes in a posessive manner, eventually reforming (usually) them. It can be sensual to both him and his partner. Depending on the severity of the assholery of the criminal element, sometimes they just...go missing.
