Moonshade

Movement in the brush in the dead of night, the sound of padding footfalls in the darkness beyond where moonlight falls. Ragged panting just out of sight, leading into a deep, throaty, feral growl... Then, soaring over the undergrowth with a snarl, a massive black shape, the size of a horse, but much more lupine in shape.... In the moonlight, you see a huge, wolflike creature, much bulkier than your average wolf, with front paws almost handlike in shape, equipped with heavy claws for slashing... Above that ivory-fanged grin are two pale white-gold eyes the color of the rising full moon, that above all else held the glint of an intelligent predator. Daring you to make your move, her tail flagged high and wagging behind her in anticipation as she stands there, ready to give chase should you turn and flee. There's no doubt about it, the beast before you is a lycanthrope, a werewolf... And what happens next is up to you.

An interesting creature, Moonshade blurs the line between man and beast, more wolf than human, as easy on four legs as on two; tending to keep to the former, in fact. She's a creature of the wilds, preferring the world outside to the one of walls and roofs... But this doesn't mean she completely disdains the civilized world; in the places she's welcome in it, she has no qualms about visiting it and enjoying the luxuries it provides.
