Background
Matt was born aboard the floating corporate sanctuary that was once the ISS but has since been retrofitted into a mega resort for the ultra-rich. He was originally the bastard of a corporate executive who legitimized him in hopes that he could use their mother as a diplomatic tie.
Without much purpose other than that Matt was taken to be trained as a corporate diplomat, specializing in Public Relations. He'd usually be sent to more desperate branches of the megacorp who were in dire need of a boost to their public relations.
Eventually after several notable successes in improving branches of the megacorp he would be allowed to form a branch company of his own by the name of "Lotus News" whose public goal would be to inform the public, but in reality it functioned more as a propaganda broadcaster for the corporation, spreading misinformation and covering up scandals that threatened the company's face.
