Rattatas are, to be blunt, a dime a dozen. They're among the most common species in the world, and are generally speaking not strong enough for a combat team, nor possessed of the 'glamour' necessary for a coordinator. They're often seen as a nuisance, or the domain of beginning trainers at best.
And yet, this one seems, at least, to be unique. His fur is, rather than the purple typical of the breed, a light, almost golden brown, eyes a bright and vibrant blue, a coloration which immediately marks him as 'shiny', to borrow the vernacular. He's surprisingly friendly around people, this coupled with the blue fabric collar around his neck marking him very visibly as belonging to someone, a bell dangling from it engraved with the word 'Kintaro'.
Yes, this little rodent belongs to
Ewan, and can occasionally be seen outside of his company, wandering around to investigate the local environs.
