Jiao

A pretty little avian with sleek, gunmetal-blue feathers covering her back from crown to tail, wingtip to wingtip, underparts being a pale shade of buff with brilliant ruddy plumage masking her face and spilling down to her bust, marking her as a Hirundo rustica, or barn swallow. She stands on delicate, black-scaled legs, with delicate like-colored fingers peeking between the covert feathers on her wingarms, she peers around with a brightly-smiling face, her eyes a striking shade of blue, the color of a clear summer sky.

As far as garb goes, she's often seen wearing a short, cap-sleeved qipao in the traditional red brocade, but is equally comfortable in naught but her own feathers, as they cover everything that needs to be.
