A unique individual, to be certain. A male zora, striding confidently around the park. Well, as confident as someone who has to walk like a duck can be, while out of the water. He's quite a sight, with his teal skin that always seems to glisten and shine under any kind of light.
Every inch of his skin is covered in a network of spiraling, runic tattoos, spelling words and incantations in a language that few understand. Piercings, too, mostly on his fins and lips, though on the occasions he's seen naked one can see he's added some choice metal to the slit that hides his genitalia from view.
His eyes, when one cares to look, are an energetic, bright blue, matching his usual grin for a hint to his demeanor. His clothing, when he wears any, includes merely a pair of swimming trunks. It's primarily for the benefit of others he wears them; people tend to frown on indecency.
He's usually cheerful, if a bit lazy, and he's known to be just a little bit of a showoff. It certainly helps that he's a talented mage. He thrives around people, animals, anything living really, happiest in a place where his gift lets him draw as he pleases. He's still quite fond of the water, but then... that's more because it's his home, and thus, where he's most comfortable.
His is a unique brand of magic, more druidic in nature than arcane. His domain is the manipulation of the raw forces of nature, the five elements of old. Water, ever changing, shifting, transforming. Wood, the eternal cycle of life and death. Fire, the great purger, passion incarnate. Earth, protecting and weathering all that comes forth. Steel, the element of war, forever creating.
Each element represents more than just the physical thing, but rather an entire school and brand of magicks.
Unlike many of his brethren, Zayne was born favoring the Wood, manipulating the essences of life itself to heal, to grow... His is a power that grows and wanes with the comings and goings of the seasons, that draws strength from everything around him.
It's this power that's lent Zayne the ability to pursue a career in medicine. After all, when one can grow medicinal plants with a word, why not use it to help people?
