    Lore

Growing up in the mountains of Enkinmar, Widget is one of the many Adalats that come from the frosted land. Cold year around, snow and ice will always be seen, be it the plains, forrests, or mountainsides. White, teal, and sangria are the most common colors seen, sprouts of red flora pocking out from the snow while a green haze floats over the land. Despite their home land and their attire, Adaloterians are adept in the cold, preferring it over the heat. Winter gear is all but absent from their towns, making the species seem as if they are dressed for summer most of the time. They might be small, but their muscle destiny is far greater than other species, making them very hardy for the environment. Adalats bare much of the responsibility for crafting and building in their society, ranging from homes to gear, and Widget is no exception to this. She has made a number of homes during her time and a plentiful amount of gadgets and tools. When it comes to their ways in life, both Adalets, the males of the species, and Adalats, the females, are focused on family and tradition. Responsiblity is key to survival, so everyone learns everthing, making Adalortians exceptionally skilled in many fields. All partake pilgrimages come their 20s, leaving their homes to work in other villages or explore the world, to bring back something of value at the end of their pilgrimage. Mechanical prodigy from the start. Working at every blacksmith and craftsman she could, the little Adalat loved learning and creating machines, from watches to weapons. Ironic considering her partents were in the leadership roles in the village. Her father is one of the main Yarl of the village and her mother shares much of the responsiblities of the job, so everyone fully expected her to follow in the footsteps of her parents. Yet, she took no interest in politics despite her father's efforts and opted for something different in life, much to her parent's annoyance. One day, a carrier Skilie arrived at her village, the first time she ever saw one of the bird people of Laveria. Upon seeing the carrier take flight, she became instantly enamored with the notion, pursing it with a passion unlike anything ever before in her life. Upon the age of pilgrimage, Widget left with glee, out to find a means to flight, to soar through the air much like the Skilie. Much to her parent's dismay, they considered it a poor dream to pursue, though that only cemented her desire to seek it. Someone out there knows the means for flight and she plans on being the one to find it or invent it.
