The horrific aberration that is Vorax'satelle is not a natural creature of this world or any other, he was forced into his current shape by the cruelty and sadistic power of IceGryphon. Once a humble fisherman within an isolated village on a small lake, Vlanir Savros was a simple human male with simple goals and no desire to cause problems with anything or anyone. Living in his small cottage with his wife, two sons and three daughter (one of them an infant) he often kept to himself and did not involve himself in the affairs of others, catching fish and allowing his family to live in relative peace and tranquility--that is, until the arrival of one of the most vicious and cruel creatures he has ever known. An icy-blue gryphon with cruel eyes came to his home whilst his family were having a shoreside picnic, the tyrant used magic to bind his family in place and was about to devour them when Vlanir used his fishing rod and hook to nearly tear apart one of their eyes. In response the sadistic gryphon knocked him into one of his bins which contained many fish from a recent large haul, then invoked a dark and terrible magic that caused the fish to melt and cling to his flesh.. his body mutating, twisting and morphing until the man known as Vlanir Savros was no more and there only stood a monster. Overwhelmed with hunger--due to the gryphon somehow managing to control his hunger and thoughts at a whim--he devoured his helpless family eagerly and mindlessly, including his infant child, and as he struggled to regain control and began to try and force himself to puke up his family the gryphon bound him once more.. forcing him to keep his prey inside, and forced him to wait until they had fully digested before he would regain control of himself. Spewing their bones out afterwards, the beast smashed and demolished his home in agonized madness as he lamented his fate to the gods themselves! But none heard them.. as the gryphon left, he was forced to follow the beast.. where the bird-creature would often command him to consume people on a whim, forcing him to do it slowly.. the creature beginning to enjoy the taste of living prey the more he did it, and as time went on the beast slowly began to forget it was ever human but these lapses of memory blanking were rare. Eventually he managed to escape from the gryphon's leash and fled into the wilds, where he spent many weeks trying to starve himself to death so he could die and release himself from his torment--but the hunger came, as it always did, and when it came he was bound to seek out prey and all ability to focus on any rational or sentient thought were eliminated as soon as his stomach growled. It was then that he realized that the gryphon had twisted his mind in such a way that even the slightest twinges of hunger made him lose control and seek to devour any and all things nearby. Little was he aware that the tyrant that had control over his mind and body always knew where he was, always knew what he was thinking, and always knew how to force him to obey.. if they wished for him to devour a particular creature, he had no control over himself and had to consume them. Even when maddened by his hunger he was always self-aware of his actions but unable to control himself, on the rare occasions that he WAS able to resist himself the gryphon would force him to act upon his instincts. The name of Vorax'satelle was forced upon the creature by the nearby locals whom he terrorized--the name meaning "Voracious Henchman" as he was often seen being commanded by an evil gryphon just before devouring entire villages.. nothing was ever safe from his hunger, not even the sick, elderly or young.. his transformation was recent, and it does not seem as if his horrendous tyrant of an owner will relinquish control of him soon...
Vorax'satelle is the slave of IceGryphon and will often be commanded by them to consume people who vex them.. beware!
He has no control over his bestial instincts for the most part, if you provoke his predatory instincts expect to be devoured and digested mercilessly. You may not ask IceGryphon to turn your character into a slave/minion/henchman, I am a close friend of his and we are in contact all of the time. Please do not pester him constantly about such requests, thank you.
