Immortal Blessings and Curses

Upon being purged of his vampirism, Vincent lost many traits that marked him as one of the undead, but gained several that marked him as the rarer entity known simply as an Immortal. Immortals were those who survived the process of removing their vampirism; a dangerous deed accomplished by siphoning the vampiric energies from the vampire itself, into a deceased human vessel, which then came to life as a revenant. The revenant would then be engaged in combat and destroyed by the vampire to free their soul. Many attempt the ritual, but few actually succeed due to the strength of the undead monstrosity they create. Vincent, having survived such a deed, was rendered one of those brave few.

As an Immortal, he gained a new doubled edged blessing/curse. His humanity was restored, and he was no longer weakened to the divine, fire or water. His left eye, however, once struck from the socket, was reformed as a completely blue eye with a red iris that is capable of seeing between worlds. Vincent views the realm of the dead, superimposed over the world of the living, and is capable of seeing spirits, demons and angels for what they truly are. But with the prospect of seeing the realm of the dead, comes encroaching madness dead-set on devouring him from the inside out. Already unstable to a degree, Vincent is prone to bouts of severe mental unrest and even violent fits of anger or fear when pushed too far.

Vincent retains his increased strength, still only slightly stronger than a powerful humanoid, and he is remarkably fast. He makes sound when he moves, but only when he wants to, making him ridiculously stealthy. He remains inhumanly charismatic, though it's debatable whether that is the Immortal's Kiss or just how he is.

Less useful but still a fun trick, Vincent's immortality has given him a fine attunement with his body, and he occasionally fusses with small parts of his molecular structure, allowing him to change parts of his body to different shapes if he so chooses. This results in different "demi-human" appearances aside from his normal "catboy" self.

An unfortunate side effect of having been a carnivorous vampire for so long is that he still craves red meat, and in particular, human flesh. These urges sometimes make it dangerous to evoke play biting with him, especially given the plethora of sharp teeth in his pretty head.
