Standing between 3 to 4 feet tall, Vidyamh are a peaceful species that have evolved in the harsh jungles of Xamvz to be nimble and quick. Despite their wild nature, they have a well developed brain for learning and those who venture outside their respective tribe learn quickly in more modernized locations.

Their four arms are tipped with claws for climbing up trees but also assist in a rather primitive method of consuming small prey. Acting like a cage, a Vidyamh will trap it's prey before using a uniqe and hidden mouth, located on it's palm, to envelop and swallow small prey for a quick meal. A long slender tube works as an esophgus to pull the devoured prey into their stomach to be digested but this method of consuming live prey only seems to be in primitive tribes if at all. The more modern of the species will use their paw-mouth to eat meals on the go such as fruits and processed meals.
Within, the Vidyamh's internal glow with a strange bioluminescent ranging from blues, reds, and yellows. The glow seems to be from a bacteria within the species from birth that help it process food more effecently.

The sharp yet strong claws on each of it's four paws, as well as 2 inward pointing claws on each foot, allow the Vidyamh to quickly scale even the highest trees where they make their homes as well as used as a last line of self defence against other predators that enhabit the area. In more modern use, they are extremely accurate in picking and placing small items with amazing accuracy. Some species even go as far as using their own claws as a tattoo service due to their sharp precision and accuracy.
