VH ::Profile (Syhdec)

It's a praying mantis, albeit a genderless one of excessive proportions. Syhdec is, without getting into specific measurements, somewhat larger than a typical draft horse; no little bug only a few inches long, this, no. It is otherwise not too different from its smaller brethren: Same hunting techniques, same dining patterns, same level of intelligence. In other words, don't expect it to dress up with a top hat and monocle and inquire politely if you might care for a spot of tea.

A few quick things:

• Please note that this character is exclusively a predator, and intended just as exclusively for graphically detailed hard vore. It isn't a character meant for the weak stomached or for the faint of heart.
• I adore settings that aren't just in the park or somewhere out in the woods. A few favorites I've used are as a lab experiment, an exotic pet, a dungeon guardian, and a local beast to whom sacrifices are offered. I like creativity when it comes to setting the stage.
• A further note in regards to setting ideas, I will not play Syhdec turning on and eating its owners or handlers. Please do not ask.
• I'll often play its saliva as acting as a clotting agent, the OOC intent of which is to keep my partner's character from bleeding to death well before the end of a scene. This is optional, in the event that playing a dead character doesn't appeal to you.

A couple of less pleasant things:

• I'm picky about character profiles, but that requires a little clarification. If your profile is mostly abilities and/or equipment, lists of methods detailing how you can annihilate entire armies, YouTube videos presenting music you feel is appropriate for your character in assorted situations (or outright unrelated to your character entirely), and/or pictures of your character in various armor/outfits/forms, you've already lost my interest.
• I'm possibly even pickier about spelling, grammar, and punctuation. A few typos are one thing, but posts which look like you threw alphabet soup at the screen are altogether unacceptable. I won't be interested in playing with you if the majority of your posts (or your profile, for that matter) wouldn't rate at least a B- in a typical high school English class.

Syhdec's original profile, since apparently it has a few fans (and believe me, no one is more surprised at that fact than I):

It is a praying mantis bigger than a clydesdale.

It isn't anthropomorphic or sentient.

It is exclusively a predatory character.

It isn't capable of soft vore.

It is genderless.

It isn't a "One Line Wonder."

It is aware that its profile might suggest otherwise.

It isn't going to write a three page profile when the above describes it well enough.

It is open to receiving whispers.

It isn't ever in character in whispers.

It is getting really tired of its whispers going unanswered without so much as a "not interested."

It isn't necessarily meant for wilderness settings, and can in fact just as easily be played as a research experiment, exotic zoo specimen, or in some other less commonly used locale.

It is aware that its profile should be tidied up considerably, and may even get around to it one of these months.
