Before you is a typical western-built red dragon of some size. Stalbon is a young adult by his kind's standards, a full 45 feet from the front of his blunt snout to the very tip of his tail and standing a little over 12 feet at the top of his shoulder. His scales vary in size across his frame, but are all hexagonal and tight-fitting, and are a uniform dark, blood red. The under portions of his neck and body, from the onset of his throat, are instead plated like a crocodilian's underside, a lighter red predominant here, with the plates being quite broad across his torso and ending shortly after his hips, on the underside of his tail.
The dragon's build is strong, if bulky. There is a relative flexibility and curve to his long neck, and his chest is broad and deep, a trend that continues across his middle. Whereas many drakes have a concave curve inward across their stomach, Stalbon's own torso is more filled and fleshed-out, with the telltale hint of some fat over his hide there, his flanks and stomach having the slightly-rounded look of one who enjoys eating, and eating well. There is strength in his form, though, as the firmly-muscled limbs will tell. Each ends in a four-digit claw, the rear being more suited to bearing the dragon's weight, while the fore ones are more manipulative, though not to the point of most anthropomorphs. Black talons sprout from each digit, sharp and curved to well-worked points. Whatever genitalia the drake carries is internal, a long slit present between two of his underplates, just behind his inner thighs.
Stalbon's wings are great sails shooting out from his shoulders, each limb a full 45 feet when fully unfurled, for a span of 90 feet in total. Wingtalons are present at the topmost joint of each wing, as well as at the farthest end of each deep-red leathery sail. Stalbon's head is fairly large, bearing a pair of black, two-foot horns sweeping back from his skull. His eyes are set forward and deep, bearing yellow irises across the breadth of the orbs, with black pupils very much like a hunting-cat's. His muzzle is boxy and long, ending abruptly without any hint of a point, and carrying rows of sharp, curving fangs beneath scaled lips.
Stalbon is a predator, fully capable of devouring creatures up to about half his size. As a player, I've more fully settled into a 'switch' sort of role, being dominant or submissive based on my current mood.
