Shui is, for whatever its worth, a vagrant mage. wander, ronin, bum-- whatever you call it. he's just sort of always been one of a wanderlust sort. typically he blames the fact that his magic makes him keen on exploration, but mostly one could pin it on him being too lazy to settle down. once a student of a prodigious college, the boy found his natural affinity for Blue Magic sort of insured that there wasnt much left for him to study in the defunct magical textbooks of the college and he moved on to greener pastures.
being a dragon certainly *HELPS* with this of course-- dragons having that whole innate magic intellect thingy... but he's a half-breed. his mother was a human, father a humanoid drake. nothing too tragic there, other than his mothers taste in drapery. Shui is very much taking advantage of his freedom currently.
no stranger to vore, shui is quite the peckish little whip, despite his lithe nature. his magic insures that food is never an issue-- reforming his 'snacks' with little effort (or rather reversing their place in time while maintaining their conciousness within the aether) being a water dragon, he's... well, a bit more elastic than youre garden variety dragon. this does mean however that he lacks a breath weapon. His half-breededness also leaves him at a bit of a disadvantage in that his eyesights fairly poor, a pair of glasses to be forever perched on his nose.

being a blue mage, shui carries with him a sort of journal of his spells. able to cast most from recollection, he still requires an impliment of focus, in this case its this book. his magic ranges from psionics, time fiddlyness, and lightning; to water manipulation, ice, and wind magics. he's youre typical slippery wizard in this respect. the only spells he does not need the book for are water manipulation, and aeromancy. yes, he can fly without wings and often shows off his acrobatics to impress cuties... or convince them to buy him lunch. as for non-typical blue spells... well he learned SOME archanist spells, though mostly related to reformation soul bendy type stuff.
oh yea- umm... yes he's *TECHNICALLY* asian, and uhh does know martial arts in a basic-- ok e.e no, he knows Jit Kun Do and is damn good at it, just uhh, not stupendously STRONG or hyper skilled. he does it cause he likes bruce lee movies. - x-
