Hailing from a tribal race of flight-less dragons, Seyuti was raised amongst their shamans, learning the rituals and rites that one day would be his to teach amongst his own clan. Before he could return, he was set to his final task: to take a spirit journey to prove that he fully understood his powers and how to rightfully use them. At some point though, his quest took him through a rift, the thick heavy foliage that he was use to changing to a different breed of trees, the air and sounds all different from what he was accustomed to.

However, he wasn't worried as much as one should be. Believing it was all part of his journey to end up in this place called the Nexus, he does what he can until his elders believe him ready and he is to return home, at least that's what he hopes is to happen.

He carries with him pouches of various materials, powders, salves and the like, used in his rituals. On top of that, a small collection of crystals, attuned to the four basic elements of earth, wind, water, and fire, and a fifth to that of the spirit realm. While not necessary in his castings, they can help to simplify focusing.
