The extradimensional entity that is known as Sapphira used to be a human male whom was with a group of adventurers exploring the Underdark when they were set upon by these giant eight-foot tall four-armed beasts which quickly overran his party, though they had managed to kill one of them.. his party were dragged off into some kind of lair which were covered in spider webs with symbols of Lloth everywhere, both Drow and Driders and more of those weird demon-things all over the area.. his followers and himself had been cocooned prior to their 'travel', and when they arrived that is when the true horrors began.

He was forced to watch as these monsters all devoured his allies, kicking and screaming, whole.. observing how their jaws stretched over them and swallowed them down, their bulges in their bellies distended and pushing around before growing still. One of the beasts approached him next, thinking himself about to be the next meal when he was brought before a much more massive version of these beasts.. with twice as many arms and standing at least three-times taller than they... he remembers her reaching down for him with her limbs and then bringing him up to her maw as it stretched open wide and that's when his memory fades to black...

As he regained consciousness, he was abandoned.. alone, and in a forest clearing. His body was no longer his own, but in the form of this strange creature.. remembering only that this was not his natural form, that he was now female, and that he craved food.. stomach growling within him. As she wandered through the region, she had stumbled upon several others whom were like she.. and they had offered her a place with them, which she agreed. They gave her food, spoke with her, and began to teach her their ways of life.. though seemingly pensive about her saying she used to not be one of their kind, and didn't remember anything beyond that.

And that leads to here--the creature having found her way to this strange place, having to learn the basics of her species and having to force herself to devour humanoids whole.. and sometimes, enjoying it. She has little to no libido so she often has no desire to unbirth others or engage in sexual encounters.. she has come to feed and to digest, and feed she shall.
