This is a megabat! 'Mega' in the sense that he is larger cousin in the fruit bat family know as a flying-fox, but also he is about 9 feet long with a wingspan of roughly 45 feet.

Though he is frugivorous, feeding primarily on flowers/nectar and fruit pulp/juice, he isn't able to sustain himself on such a diet. He's adopted predator habits, hunting for live prey and overpowering it by encapsulating them in his wings and forcing his maw down over the victim to swallow them whole. Obviously his body is ill equipped for handling a large mass of protein, so the process of digestion is very sluggish. Thankfully his stomach doesn't smell of the rotted flesh from digestion, as a solid meal could last him several days, allowing him to continue eating flowers and fruit as normal. Among his favorite foods are, ermines half his size, cherries and squash blossoms -in that order- giving his breath and guts a rather sickly sweet scent.

He has all the defining features of a megabat too, dark-grey skin tones, and a black undercoat, as well as ample neck chest and back fluff that is a nice brownish-orange. The only identifying marks are his size and a thin pink scar that starts at his right brow and ends on the left side of his muzzle. It doesn't seem to bother him at all, and in fact doesn't seem to remember how he got it.

While on the topic of remembering things, he is fully sentient, not necessarily the sharpest tool in the shed but he is cunning and thinks of himself as quite clever, but that's only because anyone to deny the sentiment quickly found themselves to be his next protein meal.
