Reissen

For those who do not know what a Burmecian is, Reissen may come off as quite an unusual sight indeed. An anthropomorphic rat, bearing ears seeming more suited to a rabbit? More than that, he towers over most, nearing seven feet in height, being incredibly thin and streamlined as well. There's definite muscle tone to his body, however, suggesting that he's as agile as his race would allow. His clothing is carefully selected to be made of comfortable silks and cottons, his wardrobe usually favoring natural colors, such as green and brown... A few items in his wardrobe, however, remain constant: around his neck is a pendant, cast in platinum, depicting a dragon coiling around itself, surrounded by seven gold orbs. Those in the know would instantly recognize this as a holy symbol of Bahamut. Draped around his shoulders is a white silk scarf, kept meticulously clean. Finally, atop his head rests a simple black hat, holes cut in the brim for his ears to be able to poke through without being uncomfortable.

Nearly always, one can find what appears to be a stringless bow slung across his back, lacking in quiver. Aside from that, he seems to simply be an odd-looking rodent, who happens to be very far from home...

Reissen gives off a nearly constant aura of paranoia and general awkwardness; he doesn't do terribly well in social situations, and when it comes to relationships he really is quite hopeless. He seems to constantly be jumpy about something, easily startled by sudden noises or movements. He seems unwilling to discuss his reasons for this, at least until one gets to know him better...

Reissen is a highly talented cleric, possessing a wide array of healing and defensive magic. Though he has not considered himself one for a long time, Reissen was also once a paladin, and still follows the code to this day. Do not mistake him for a simple healer, however; Reissen is a gifted archer, and though his shots will only rarely be made to kill, he still has nearly unerring aim... It's important to keep these in mind around Reissen; he is obligated by his faith to offer help to those who need it, and any denizen of the park can come to him seeking protection, and expect to receive it.

Ultimately, Reissen is a gentle soul, and if one can look past his social awkwardness, they might find an incredibly loyal friend, if a quiet one...
