Oros

Massive.

That is, in fact, often what first comes to mind, when one looks upon the dragon named Oros. An expanse of crimson scales, massive wings... A great wyrm of a red dragon, if ever there was one. He's easily a hundred feet from nose to tailtip, usually found in his lair, sprawled across a glittering mountain of gold, the loot and wealth accumulated across thousands of years of life. The dragon's build tells of quite a bit of gluttony, a rounded middle that hangs between his legs and sways when he walks. His wings easily reach a span f over 120 feet, each step sending small tremors through the ground, each wingbeat a small gale...

Of terrifying note, too, is the skill with which he wields arcane magic, a torrent of unrelenting force that few could hope to stand against, let alone overcome.

He's quite infamous, where he comes from, locals giving him the all-too-fitting epithet 'the Devourer', so named for his tendency to gorge himself on innocent villages, and especially the adventurers which inevitably come to extract 'justice' for what he's done.

Oros, of course, welcomes the publicity. After all, more adventurers coming to him means more prey to sample...

But there is a peculiarity about the dragon, a secret he tells nobody save those about to feed him.

Of the many, many individuals who have vanished down the dragon's gullet... not one has died.

It may seem impossible, but if one were to inquire about his methods, why, Oros would be happy to demonstrate.
