Tall. Very tall. Like a Clydesdale, his lower portion stood about even to the tops of most folks heads, and then his torso rose above, large even for the scale he was built to. Though he wasn't fat, by any means, he was considered to be pudgy, soft, by some. His paws were the size of dinner plates, and sprouting from his rear were two very long vulpine tails, about the length of his own body.

He also had two wings, and they were a strange sight. They seemed like they were mostly vestigial, because at his size there was no way those things would lift him off the ground. Not to mention they were mismatched, the two requiring completely different principles to achieve flight. One was black with a rainbow sheen when the light hit the feathers just right, and the other was a silvery white pebble-scaled batlike appendage, complete with clawfingers at it's jointed peak.
His voice, when he spoke, was a basso rumble, and he seemed to smile easily. He wore only a large green cloth bandoleer of pouches, slung over his shoulder and across his torso, and carried with him a staff that rivaled him for height. Though at his size, the term "log" might be more appropriate. The last thing one might notice, because it was generally difficult considering his long shaggy, fluffy, fur, would be the scars. If one looked closely, they couls seem them covering his body, crisscrossing and marring his flesh all over. There were even a few on his face, and those were the most obvious.

For those posessing magical senses, the air hummed with potential, as did the carved staff with the pair of metallic feathers adorning it's top. The carvings in the wood, primarily right angled paths, like a maze wrapped around a stick, seed to be carved deep into the wood. Deeper than the surface, so deep in fact that most of them should have been running together, meeting one another at depth, though they never did.

His features were, generally speaking, amiable, amicable, pleasant. Smiles seemed to come naturally and friendliness was the tone unless purposely provoked otherwise. He was inviting and welcoming to conversation by all.


[So the picture is obviously not a taur. The character however is. It is in fact a picture of the character, but the artist apparently lost something in translation, which is fine, because i adore it anywho.
