Mystrel

Lake Nerys is a large, deep lake, surrounded by hills and forests. A few fishing villages dot its otherwise-pristine banks, while a larger town rests at the mouth of the river that feeds into the lake. All in all, it’s a peaceful location...but, as with many large, deep lakes, it has its share of myths, including, of course, a legendary monster. But the monster in Lake Nerys is more than a legend...and her name is Mystrel.

Mystrel is a large, feminine creature, over twenty feet tall from head to toe. Her head is slightly wedge-shaped, with a rounded muzzle, large, yellow eyes, and two small ‘ear’-fins on the side of her head, all sitting atop a neck that’s about five feet long. She also has a spiny ‘dorsal’ fin that starts atop her head, and runs down the back of her neck, ending below her shoulderblades. At its tallest (atop her head), it’s about a foot and a half tall, and she can fold it down to make herself more streamlined.

Further down are her large, heavy breasts, each topped with dark blue nipples. Below those is her belly; she's clearly well-fed, as her belly is plump, round and soft. Her hips are nice and wide, with soft, nicely-padded buttocks leading into her thick, strong legs. Her feet are webbed, and somewhat broad. Above her rump is her tail, which is itself nearly as long as she is tall.. The last third (give or take a foot) has a vertical, rounded “paddle”-shaped fin, which provides the bulk of her propulsion underwater.

While she looks somewhat reptilian, she lacks scales; her skin is instead smooth and almost rubbery, almost like a dolphin’s. Her back is navy blue, with darker blue spots, while her front (from her chin, down over her breasts and belly, to her crotch, the underside of the base of her tail, and her inner thighs) is a very pale blue.

One would be correct in assuming that she’s at least somewhat draconic, although she may not be a true dragon; she’s almost fully aquatic, and lacks the wings and scales most Western dragons have, and is certainly nothing like an Eastern dragon. But she does have a breath weapon, albeit a fairly unusual one.

She can breathe a dense mist, and quite a bit of it, too, enough to hide a considerable area. The mist is cold and damp, quite hard to navigate through, and has a magical stamina-draining effect. The effect is fairly weak, but constant as long as the victim blunders about within the fog.

She can also ‘focus’ her breath into a ‘beam’. The chilliness and dampness is still there, but mostly, it amplifies the stamina drain, to the point where she can bring even the heartiest of victims to their knees in a few moments. She doesn’t use this trick often, though!

That’s really all there is to her! Personality, backstory and all that? Well, that may or may not come out in RP.
