When Myla was nothing more than a baby, she had been left on the doorstep of an orphanage, given up by her mother before she even knew her. She was fairly happy at the orphanage, and had heard about quite a few nice people who had been donating to the orphanage lately... including a very particular dragon named Ophelia. When Myla was about 8, she had the opportunity to meet Ophelia during one of her visits to the orphanage to make another donation. Myla seemed to grow attached to her, and Ophelia seemed strangely protective of the little girl. However, eventually she had to leave. Every time Ophelia came to the orphanage after that, Myla made it a point to spend as much time as she could with her. Fast forward 10 years later, and Myla still lives at the orphanage, hunting for a job. She soon learned of a job opening at a night club in town, and was able to set up an interview. When she arrived for her interview, she soon discovered that the owner of the night club, and the person who would be interviewing her, was Ophelia, much to both their surprise. After a brief interview, Ophelia not only gave Myla a job at the night club, but she even chose to adopt her, taking her in and turning her into a dragon like her. Now, Myla lives and works together happily with Ophelia.
