Loxxy

She dresses outlandishly, to be truthful, preferring bright colors mixed with black, making her stand out like a neon sign at midnight. Her favorite garment, an acid-green duster, oft worn with precious little to cover her chest, or the 'curvaceous' midsection she's sporting these days. She does always seem to wear a collar around her neck, meant to go with the violet band of fur in the same region...

Get closer, and you see her eyes. One bright, radioactive green, the other deep, toxic violet. Both have in them an unearthly, eldritch glow, and as you get closer than that you see the wolf has no pupils, though in that glow you might, just might, see the faintest traces of words that cannot be pronounced, of symbols that mean things no being of this world, or any other, was meant to know. She is, on occasion, seen as male, wandering the grounds with the same clothing, the same strange, two-toned eyes...

Yes, there is something subtly wrong with this lupine, in every sense of the word. To the sensitive, she has no aura, no chakra or mana, nothing at all to suggest she exists, save what the naked eye can perceive...

But don't let that fool you. She's perfectly amiable. Friendly, even, and prone to being generally cuddly. While the unseen senses are perfectly aware of the danger that lurks just out of sight, it's been a very long time since the lupine's had any inkling to use it.

She carries no weapon, uses nothing that could be classified as magic. Even confronted, she will choose to submit or retreat, rather than raise a hand against another. She'll always claim that fighting just takes up too much energy, and she is at her heart too lazy to really bother with such things.

She'll happily share with whoever desires, and should someone be looking for companionship, she'll always volunteer, usually with a cheerful hug and an offered snack not too far behind.

To make a long story short, be nice to her and you'll find a friend who'll never turn her back on you. Be less than that... and, well. She'll pay you no mind, and let you go about your business.

--------------------------------------

In terms of her past, she's not often willing to share, nor does she quite remember. She'll often joke, and say that the details would drive the listener mad, and yet... there is a rather distressing level of seriousness in her gaze when she says such things, and when pressed, she won't give out any information beyond that.

Perhaps if one can earn her trust, she might tell them a story of a stupid young woman who once gazed into the nameless dark that hides behind stars... A stupid young woman who looked upon the Void so long, that she drew the curiosity of something that cannot be comprehended by a mortal mind. Something that, seeing a creature alien to its land, took it in as a child would a toy, and without meaning to, broke it.

Perhaps, she might tell you, such a creature thought to right its wrong, and put the broken toy back together, without having all the pieces and no knowledge of how they should fit together, and so... improvised, with what it had on hand. The resultant construct might be at least similar in shape to the original, but... the similarity, perhaps, would end with the physical. Excluding that outer shell, what's left within would be wholly, utterly, different.

But then, she'd just laugh and pat you on the back. It certainly does make for an interesting story, doesn't it?

... Doesn't it?
