Kythe

Kythe [pronounced Kah•th] the Gold Claw, is a Gwyllgi. Much like those from Welsh mythology.

Gwyllgi are the also know as the hounds of hell thanks to Christian missionaries. Usually depicted stalking dark roads in the dead of night. Dark fur and glowing red eyes.

It is said you best not whistle indoors after midnight or you risk calling the gwyllgi to your home.

What is not usually said outside of Wales is this: The gwyllgi are simply a pack of hounds released at the start of a wild hunt conducted by a fare lord.

This particular one is an entire pack rolled into one. Cloaked in féth fíada. You should certainly hope you aren't his intended quarry.
