An ophran from Zatatar, Kaze grew up on the island of Ixia, one of the few to ever to so. Growing up as a monk at first, he eventually started off very devouted to Ixia, keeping to the Sacred Code as much as possible. As he grew older and more experienced in the worldthough, he started to lash out and question his God, even arguing with Ixia a few times, the only one known to do so. This left him at odds with the other monks and eventually a resent grew, to the point where Kaze left the temple, out to prove his views after being frustrated with Ixia's lack of interaction with the people of Tsushoro. Much like his namesake, Kaze goes where the wind takes him. With all the skill and training provide to him by the Monks of Ixia, he was more than skilled to take on the task, a proficient martial artist and weapon user. Still adhereing to much of what Ixia taught him, killing is something he chooses to do only when no other option can he found, but don't be mistaken, he will do what he must.
Although Kaze did not grow up with his people, he is still a a Wuifine. With a keen sense of smell, slender yet strudy frame, he is well suited for his task. The deserts of Zatatar are like second nature for him, but the tundra swamps of Enkinmar are a bitter place for him, preferring the heat over the cold much like the rest of his species. Even though he has spent time with his own kind, he feels out of place, always recalling back to his life with Ixia and the monks. So he wanders, both fleeing his desires to return and looking for what he believes is an impending great evil over the horizon.
