Biography:
Jakob was born into a rich family that had made its fortune in the clothing industry on his mother's side and the jewelry industry on his father's side. Sitting atop a pile of riches allowed the little Jakob to attend the best private schools, own the best toys and enjoy any and all activities he may have fancied, even if only for a short time. The anteater lived in a mansion so big that he probably still hasn't seen all the rooms and never will. All these boons, however, could also be a curse for he rarely had the occasion to enjoy quality time with his entire family. His parents had to miss the picnics or the get-togethers often due to having to keep an eye on their respective business. He was well raised, don't get it wrong, but the absences of one or both his parents at different points of his life was often felt and the young boy quickly grew closer to the staff of the house than his own parents, but it wasn't a bad thing. It showed him that there are things you cannot buy with money and that no matter how much wealth you may have, you can't buy the fun of going out in the woods with little else than a backpack, a tent and a couple of beer to watch the sun set on the water. His experiences with what his family called the common folk were so enlightening even that when he left the house to live on his own and despite being given a hefty part of the family fund, the anteater decided to not settle anywhere and explore the world on his own two feet with only a few belongings and a curious mind.

He visited the common places first, like Paris, Venice, the carribeans and such for his own leisure and because... Well... When you have the wealth and the opportunity, it never hurts to take it! Then, he strayed from the beaten path and visited the little towns and the backwater villages that often do not get to see many tourists... He was called "An outsider" often and got in trouble even more often, but wealth has its benefits when it comes to bribing the greedy and evil. To his knowledge, he always was smart enough to avoid being in real trouble, but he did wake up with bruises in the morning and the occasional cuts and scratches... Some of them caused by his captors, others caused by an intense lover. All in all, he was pretty satisfied of his travels, but he was not done exploring. Using his wealth, Jakob decided to start collecting books and the occasional artifact, magical or historical. He settled down in a quiet little community considered outcast by some, interesting by him where he built himself a home around a large library where his mind can wander as much as his body did. And now that he is settled down, he can enjoy what he has learnt and sometimes even put it to use. He has new hobbies and new tastes that, he believes, the new community he just found can fill.
