VH ::Profile (Jaitsu)

Jai is, simply put, a fuzz-dragon. He stands about 6 and a half feet tall, meaning he's no small one, either - for an anthro, at least. He's covered from head to toe in dense, monochromatic fluff, except where he isn't - where there isn't fluff, there's scale. Tough, armored scaly plates, all polished to a shine, though a few deeper scratches and scuffs he couldn't quite buff out suggest he has gotten himself into trouble a time or two (dozen). The sharpened horns and claws, and prominent fangs, suggest he can handle himself just fine, too... though his gentle demeanor makes him fairly nonthreatening, regardless. He's a fire-breather, as his draconic nature suggests, but all in all, he seems much more likely to use it to start (then curl up in) a campfire than to use it as a weapon.

Some might call him an adventurer, others, a vagrant. He tends to live day to day and place to place, never settling down in any one place for long before moving on to the next, always looking to see new sights and meet new people - though he's sure to come back and visit the ones he likes! The only thing he ever seems to bring along with him is a simple, worn leather satchel, small enough that it won't weigh him down, big enough to hold... what appears to be an assortment of random, worthless trinkets. To most, it's a bunch of junk; to him, it's a collection of priceless treasures, each and every one a memento or souvenir of a person or place worth remembering. Hey, every dragon's gotta have a hoard, right?

Once he's grown comfortable with his surroundings, one might notice he has some... cat-like tendencies. Once the compulsion to act dignified ~like a dragon~ has passed, he can often be found on all fours (which does make him look strikingly more like a proper quadruped than the average anthro-sort), seeking out the warmest spot he can find to curl up and get comfy. Being a dragon, that may very well include climbing into the nearest oven, fireplace, or volcano. You might even catch him purring... though he'll vehemently deny it once he comes to his senses. Heat has a way of making him act practically drunk - happy, relaxed, and probably a little lazy-drowsy. He hates the cold, though; exposed to too much of it, his reptilian side shows, making him weak and lethargic, and finally even downright comatose until he's warmed up again. In any case, whatever the source, a little offered warmth is an easy way to make a happy dragon.

Please please please for the love of god don't mention kids/offspring/whatever hybrids if you don't want to instantly kill the mood.
