Imogen is somewhat of a black sheep in her family, rarely spending time with her relatives, she instead left when much younger to explore the universe on her own. Imogen is the Daughter of Niu and half sister to Azzula, who is the only family member she’s close to, having a romantic relationship with her half sister, other than that she found a partnership with a mercenary named Eidian who’s like a sister to her.
Imogen was first conceived by her father in thought, as a new breed of synthetic dedicated to areal support, and not needing the large amounts of metatron that he and others require just to stay functional. Imogen was born from Niu from a blueprint designed by himself and Alice_LeBlanc, and her body and mind were made within Niu from these blueprints, making Niu more of a mother to Imogen with Alice filling the role of father with part of the blueprint given to Niu.
Imogen’s design is rather successful, being that she can provide close air support, and convert to ground support when necessary, but her personality lead her to want to get out and explore, and she soon tired of combat tests and spending time with her extended family. One night Imogen ran off, leaving only a note for her father and went to explore on her own. In her travels Imogen soon ran into Eidian, finding the Therraxen merc in a bit of trouble she jumped in to help.
After their first encounter both found they had a lot in common, both free spirits who don’t like to be chained down, and both enjoying being wild, as well as a good fight. Soon enough after traveling together the two cemented their relationship as adoptive sisters, and occasional lovers. From there Imogen and Eidian both started traveling together and don’t often spend extended periods apart.
Imogen’s main reason for wandering farther from Eidian is to spend time with her half sister Azzula, whom she closely identifies with, since Azzula is also wild and untamed, the two are lovers and often spend long periods together. One of Imogen’s favourite things to do with Azzula is to trade places, much to their family’s dismay, since Imogen’s mercenary acquaintances are not always on the side of the empire her family oversees.

While Imogen might look like she’s very hard and metallic, she’s comprised of individual cell sized machines, similar to most biological creatures, giving her a more flesh like feel all over, one could compare her to a dragon, with some parts like harder armour, others soft smooth flesh made from metal. Her supple hide isn’t the only place you’d see that differs from more traditional ‘robots’, given she eats, breeds and does a variety of other things that you don’t expect a synthetic to do.
Imogen’s Physiology is very similar to the synthetic biological nature of her father, though it’s far less focused around the requirement of Metatron, requiring it only for her actual synthetic brain function. Imogen lacks the ability to levitate and fly without thrust, though in lieu of the same flight as her father Imogen has powerful thrusters making her capable of VTOL flight and hovering in place.
Imogen lacks energy weapons, but in their place she’s got a powerful Gatling cannon mounted in her mouth, just under the tongue, other than that she’s able to carry a variety of external and attachable weaponry from missiles and rockets to large cannons and bombs. Imogen’s Claws are also sharp and made of very resilient materials, making them able to cut and puncture most armour, the same can be said of her teeth, which are backed by very strong jaws.
When it comes to her needs for fuel and materials to keep her body running, Imogen has a fully functional digestive system, designed to take in organics and inorganic and convert them into useable materials, fuel and energy. Like one might expect Imogen’s digestive system starts in the mouth and ends with her tail hole, but in between she’s got 2 distinct stomachs, a fermentation chamber and 2 sets of intestines.
Like her sister Azzula Imogen has a U shaped forestomach lined with hard plates with sharp edges designed to shred food for proper digestion while mixing them with enzymes and Lye, the second stomach is multipurpose, adapting to the composition of her current food to process it in stages, starting with organics into fuel and lubricants, and moving to metals that are turned into nutrients to keep her body in repair.
Her intestines work as one might expect, though they are somewhat short and have a spiral valv inside like you’d see in a shark’s digestive system, the fermentation chamber comes between large and small intestine and works to ferment organic mater into fuel for use generating power and providing thrust, should she not be able to get pre refined fuels.
Imogen has a fully functional male and female reproductive system as well, like her family she is designed to be able to reproduce, creating more of her kind without the need for dedicated factories, and allowing her body to refine eaten enemy hardware into the materials necessary to produce her offspring.

Behaviourally, Imogen tends to act like a demi feral, equally able to walk upright as on allfouurs, while fully sentient and intelligent she often growls and communicates in a more primitive form, using body language, subtle sounds and scent. Imogen hunts for food like you might expect from a wild predator, stalking suitable things to eat, from organic creatures, to tanks and aircraft, preferring to strike to incapacitate before she descends to eat her meal.
When it comes to prey, when possible Imogen likes to swallow them alive and enjoy the feeling of them expiring within her gut slowly, meaning she often tries to swallow things whole and alive, rather than killing them first. While she can be a truly wild beast, Imogen can also be quite calm and civilized when she chooses, speaking instead of growling and taking actions.
While wild and somewhat forceful, Imogen can also be more subtle and alluring, gently coaxing others to do as she wants when it better suits the situation, she goes between gentle and wild with her loved ones depending on the mood as well, though she’s used to more durable lovers where she can be rough without worry of harming them.
Most of the time Imogen is reclusive, spending time mostly with Eidian or Azzula, but her curiosity and lust for new experiences does drive her out and into new situations constantly, she loves new experiences, new food and occasionally, new friends. She’s quick to identify with other large animalistic creatures, and will often have fun with them.
When it comes down to her diet, Imogen prefers a mix of 70% fruits and vegetables, 20% metals and inorganics and 10% meat, though mood can sometimes change these, as well as her current bodily needs. Imogen is also quite attracted to sources of pre refined high energy fuels, ethanol, methanol, kerosene and liquid petroleum gases such as propane and butane are among her favourites for engine fuel.
