Fairchild is rather modular. One she sometimes uses in her social frame (see below) is a shemale conversion kit. She has no way to go 'male' because her chest doesn't swap as easily as a simple groin socket! Typically she's full female, or even genderless, unless noted otherwise though. In many ways it just functions as a bolted-on strap-on. General
A hard-working A-10, Fairchild is a military lady who ends up with more paperwork than she likes. Late nights at the office can make her hungry, frisky, or both!
She's a pretty tall lady, and strong to boot - metal construction will do that. Her skin isn't all cold and hard though, having a more warm, plastic-like feel to it, with softer rubberized portions where... necessary.
Fairchild is a synethetic biomech. She was built, not born, but she's not entirely machine. She's extremely difficult to injure and most of her organ-parts can be replaced in a much simpler manner than surgery, but also heal from injury on their own given time. This does mean she 'burns fuel' even when sitting idle, though!
Refueling
Given this is a vore chat this is likely a favored topic! Fairchild, having semi-organic components, requires an organic diet. However, her actual protein, fat, and vitamin requires are extremely low for her size, because the biological tissues make up only a minor part of her; due to this, she does not produce waste either (at least, nothing that can't get burned off in her engines). Instead most of what she consumes is processed down to fuel.
She has only one stomach, though because she has a higher seperation between organs than an organic, it is a clean place when empty and not inherently dangerous. The interior is a rubbery substance, stretchy and self-sealing if damaged. Mixing in the 'digestive' agents is a deliberate act for the synth, so she can keep something (aka someone) down for a while if she wants.
Compared to synths designed for purely industrial or other purposes, Fairchild does have a design 'flaw' - her components are high-activity, high-energy by comparison. She is considerably stronger, faster and more resilient than an industrial synth platform of equal size (the size being important, her social platform cannot outlift an industrial's heavy platform!). This comes at a cost of a considerably higher fuel burn rate, and war-platforms like Fairchild are both designed and motivated to 'refuel' on the battlefield, including on enemy combatants.
Body-Platforms
Fairchild's synthetic nature means her body isn't necessarily herself, but a collection of cooperative components closer to a machine. They can be replaced, some with more difficulty than others, but still more easily than a true organic in surgery. She has no bones in the true sense, but an internal structure that serves the same purpose, and as her components are individually armored, displacing them (such as via a greatly expanded belly) doesn't cause her distress.
More importantly, her primary components (the ones most difficult to replace) can be fairly readily removed as a single group. Essentially, Fairchild can swap bodies as required, though because she is mentally 'wired' for certain aspects of design, she always shares similar features. This isn't an infinitely modular system; only bodies designed to be compatible with her will work, and there's only a finite number.
Fairchild's primary bodyplatforms are:
Social: Fairchild's social platform is that of a nine-foot tall humanoid with many features drawn from an A-10. She's quite obviously female, and while her synthskin is still very resilient, it is softer than the armor she'd otherwise have. She has no internal armament in her social form, though she's quite capable of using most weapons normally. The social platform is quite capable of engaging in many sorts of purely 'recreational' pursuits, a feature ostensibly designed to reassure the synths they were not meant as just servants, though Fairchild sometimes suspects her designer was just a perv. She's still just over ten feet tall, so a really odd perv!
Industrial: Because the core components are by far the largest expense, most of Fairchild's type of synthcraft have an industrial body option. Twice as tall as her social platform, her assigned gender is still visible, though more subdued in nature. Her synthskin is much less soft to the touch here, and has many actual epidural plates. However, she is still unarmed. Fairchild, like most of her particular kind, tend to avoid wearing their industrial platforms unless necessary; it's awkward to socialize and not suited to combat, either, and she's not a laborer.
Warbird: The third 'common' body platform varies as to the purpose of the original synth. In Fairchild's case, she was designated as a ground-attack aircraft, and so her third platform, designated warbird class, is exactly that. Unlike the other two, it has few 'anthro' features. It is not intended as a disguise - close examination easily shows her eyes, manipulator arms under the wings, and a maw that isn't just war-paint. This is her armed form, with an internal bay for an integrated heavy anti-armor cannon, and pylons for short ranged missiles and bombs. An interesting side effect of the necessity for practice is that each of these mounts can be loaded with non-lethal weaponry, used for practice sessions or to stun biologicals for refueling.
All three of Fairchild's platforms are flight-capable, though the social and industrial are more of a powered-hover, and have nowhere near the speed or endurance of the warbird.
