Esh, it seems, is a peacock demi, though it might not be immediately obvious. A slender figure with reddish-brown skin, appearing human enough, save for the fact that in lieu of arms he seems to have a pair of wings adapted for gripping, not dissimilar in structure to a bat's, or some varieties of dragon. Below his waist, skin fades into feathers, legs ending below the knee in avian talons. There's also the telltale fan of the peacock's tail, though typically this is hidden.
He's not unattractive, though he'd deny it, keeping midnight-blue hair long enough to hide most of his face unless it's pulled back in some way, a few tufts of feather visible along his hairline. He tends to wear thick glasses, and concealing clothing, favoring long coats that hide his tail, though he can't do anything about his wings without severe discomfort.
He honestly seems to shy away from attention of any sort, working up just enough courage to appear in public but finding himself deeply uncomfortable in crowds or open spaces... a fact he is, at least, trying to correct.
