Appearance:
Edward is a standard grey hyena, or "arctic hyena" as he calls it. He's also very boring, which is why this description is short. He is 5'10", and roughly 200 lbs. He has a mane of long black hair which is generally unkept, blue eyes, and two rounded ears. There are darker areas of fur on his muzzle, forearms, and calves, as well as the spots which cover his body. He is usually barefoot, with black pawpads on his hands and feet exposed. He has a black tail which hangs roughly down to his knees and protrudes from a hole in the back of whatever garment he wears.

Clothing:
Edward's usual casual attire is to wear his navy blue lab coat (seen above) over a blue and grey checkered skirt that covers him from waist to knee. Also from waist to his toes is a pair of black opaque tights which make it nearly impossible to see his fur and spots beneath them. Both skirt and tights have a hole in the back for his tail. His outfit would be completed by a pair of flat shoes and one of the many t-shirts or tops in his wardrobe, most of them related to music or some nerdy subculture, with a few solid color shirts so he can look nice sometimes.
A recent addition to his wardrobe is a blue leather collar around his neck. The collar is a single strip of leather held closed in the back by a metal loop, with a steel tag on the front that says "Poczwara" on it. There doesn't appear to be any mechanism to remove or adjust the collar. He also wears a strange ring. The ring is made of an unusual metal that almost seems to absorb light rather than reflect anything. There's a faceted round cut crystal set in the top of it, deep purple and warm to the touch.

Special RP Note : Anyone who takes the time to undress Edward before devouring and digesting him has earned a new lab coat. Feel free to wear or save any of Edward's clothes as a souvenir of his fate / your conquest.

Character:
The hyena mostly came here to chat, hang out, and meet new friends. As a card-carrying citizen and a species that is traditionally a predator, he has had little to worry about when it comes to predation. This safety means he does not always take a situation as seriously as others may, or as seriously as he should. This aside, he tries to be as friendly as possible to everyone. Life's too short to antagonize.

What keeps Edward here is a relationship. Edward has been Ravenser's girlfriend for over a year now, and as the Lounge is near the forest where his boyfriend comes from, he still comes by to see him. His outlook towards some members of that lounge are heavily influenced by their actions towards either the squirrel or himself. Dating a wild prey-species has also led to a dimmer view towards the more blatant predators.

Edward has also had a few 'incidents' occur. As the result of his overprotective nature towards Ravenser, he ended up trying to take a portal to another dimension uninvited. The result of this was a long lasting injury leaving him weak in one of his arms, as well as a collar around his neck. Being owned by a nightmare creature from the Dreamscape has of course been a complicated experience, and now he calls the skelotharl Iqul his master.

Despite being extremely reluctant to discuss his clan and where he cames from, some people have gotten details out of him recently. Edward was considered "Clan property" due to a very low status, and at some point his purpose in the clan led to him fleeing. While he has no lost love for Detroit, where he comes from, going back to see his clan is unthinkable.
