Cabel

Cabel's just an ordinary, pudgy, 22 year-old hedgehog (like the real animal, not the videogame mascot) making his way in this crazy world of ours.

--Appearance--
The hog is covered in creamy white fur with bright orange patches around his snout, belly, and hands and feet. His quills are a gentle brown, reaching off his head like long hair as well as covering the center of his back, ending right above his stubby tail. He stands around 5'9", and is particularly bottom-heavy - he's well padded all over, but it's centered on his hips and belly. He's rather proud of his body, though you'd never hear him say it.

--Personality--
One might expect a hedgehog to be grumpy, skittish, and defensive - and when it comes to strangers, that's mostly true for Cabel. But he's quite quick to warm up to people who share his interests- art, gaming, writing- and becomes a friendly and exciteable fellow quickly! His cheerful personality can seem a bit naive from time to time, and he's slow to pick up on subtle hints until they become blindingly obvious- especially when related to sexual (or predatory) advances...

--Bio--
Cabel lives alone in a modest apartment, unremarkable save for a collection of video game consoles and a larger-than-average pantry and kitchen. It's a nice place, but the rent is something of an issue.

He finds work running errands for a variety of interests in town; the pharmaceutical/tech startup Massiv needs deliveries made, and also supplies him with medication for his 'condition', while a side gig at a film studio has him painting miniature sets and helping actors with makeup and costumes. The jobs are profitable and enjoyable, respectively, but they tend to leave him wiped out at the end of the day.

--Sizey stuff (optional!)--
Cabel has a unique condition associated with his adrenal gland, leading to sudden and dramatic size changes. Flight-or-fight triggers can quickly and involuntarily change his size - building anger or unrestrained excitement leads to a buildup of growth, while being suddenly spooked will shrink him in an instant, and dawning horror causing him to dwindle smaller over time.

Of course, he has medication that will block these reactions, but it's not 100% effective, and he's quite forgetful about it!
