Blanks

(More to come later. New character, so just putting up the basic version for now. Also, picture isn't mine, but it's very similar in appearance and attitude. The artist is cool with me using it until I get a proper image.)

Name: Nathaniel "Blanks"

Species: Virginia Opossum.

Age: 19

Appearance: Standing at five foot eight (5' 8), you have a fluffy possum named Nathaniel, though after a few years into elementary school, everyone took to calling him "Blanks" (Or Blank). Thick snow white fur covers most of his body, save for black for his ears, along his claw tipped fingers, and a thick stripe running up his spine from the top of his tail's base. His tail is nearly as long as he is tall, five feet long, fully prehensile, and totally hairless. Tired and dark (midnight) purple eyes stare back at you when you look at him, and it's hard to tell due to his nature if those black rings under his eyes are from a lack of sleep or from makeup. His left ear is pierced with three hoop rings, all on the outer left side. A ring of garnet near the tip, a ring of amethyst near the middle, and a pearlescent hoop near the bottom. His attire consists of a few different outfits, but what he's most seen in is a black hoodie with the image of a one eyed, cheery head of Death plastered on the front, a worn pair of grey skinny jeans with a hole cut in the back for his tail and near his heels from constant wear, and a pair of black laced 'goth' boots. Due to how often how wears this outfit, it usually prompts jokes from others if he's seen in anything different. He'll usually be seen slouching, hands in the pockets of his hoodie and his ears slightly tipped back from some internal annoyance.

Personality: He's a quiet one, though he gets lippy pretty quickly if someone does something he doesn't like (which seems to be a lot of things). A bit of a nihilist, he's often seen by himself with almost no friends to hang out with save for a few close ones that've put up with him over the years. Snarky and equipped with a rather plethora of dry comebacks, he'd probably get beat up a lot more than he does if it wasn't for his nickname's namesake. However, deep down he does care for those he befriends, and he can actually be a pretty sweet guy when he's not trying to keep people away.

"Shooting Blanks": The possum's namesake and the reason for his general attitude! Born into a world where everyone has a magic gift from the day they're born, his is... nullification. To be exact, he has magic immunity on a skin tight layer about his person, though he can extend it to about ten feet in a circumference around him. He's immune to everything from arctic blasts to firestorms, and everything in between, and there seem to be very few work arounds to it aside from debris caused by magic and potions. It might be that a few of some would be friends hated how they couldn't used their sweet magic when the possum is in a bad mood or that he was born with such a boring power in a world with lots of exciting things, but it's a big part of the reason he's always so grumpy.
