A curious little thing. Azrafel is a furred humanoid, just under two feet in height. The little critter's coat is a very pale blue, nearly appearing white, with legs ending in cloven hooves, hands having wide, almost spade-like claws. His ears sit at the top of his head, pointed and almost feline in appearance. A pair of horns rests between them, although they aren't very impressive, much more small and rounded than what a 'proper' horn might appear as. Completing the strange creature's appearance is a pair of vibrantly-red eyes, seemingly lacking in iris or pupil, and a long spaded tail with a tuft of fur at the end. Of course, the question is, what manner of creature is he?
Azrafel, you see, is a snow imp. A demon from one of the colder levels of the Abyss, and one that, where he comes from at least, is fairly common. Now, some might think 'demon' and immediately think of powerful magical creatures that exist to tempt mortals to evil... but the fact of the matter is that snow imps don't seem to have a lot going for them. They have a supernatural resistance to injury of nearly all types, and are generally quite resilient for their size, in addition to being naturally talented diggers, preferring to have dens belowground, or under the snow, but other than those specific skills they are, for a creature from the lower planes, rather mundane. Only rarely do they ever get summoned from their native home, and almost always by mistake, and so few ever hear of them. But this one, for some reason, has found his way here.
Azrafel, in spite of his origins, is an inquisitive little imp who, while nervous around the bigger folk, is still content to approach, and even spend time around them. In the company of kinder outsiders, he's even been known to be affectionate, cuddling right up to a friend to share in some warmth. He's wary of other demons, however, largely because where he comes from, most of the populace do not treat each other terribly well. But even with that in the way, it's not difficult to earn the little imp's trust. One just needs to show some love.
