Asuroth_Sunblaze

Asuroth Sunblaze is a Red Dragon who was born as a human.

This human, known as Asaan Vyrakh, was nothing special. But he had a penchant for being enthralled by dragons as he often spent his days watching the winged beasts flying high overhead and wishing beyond wishes that one day he could have met one, even for a short while; just to share in their wisdom and in their stories, and to understand their true majesty. The path, point, purpose of the mortal realm meant absolutely nothing to him. He did not see a point to living and forcing himself to live to such meager standards. His obsession with the Firstborn Children of the Gods was well-known by all members of his family and even his closest friends, and they had all attempted to convince him to abandon his fantasies and return to reality; but he ignored them all, feeling as if his fate was bound to the majestic beasts. As soon as he was old enough to don armor and carry a blade, he had left his home behind and ventured off into the world. He had heard that there was a hermit who lived atop a mountain that was capable of seeing into one's future, and he intended to find this hermit to see if his fate was to join the majestic beasts or if his fate as to be a simple villager.. and lead a boring life.

The trip to the Hermit took only a week to do, and given his father had taught him how to use a blade as well as how to move in armor he was fully capable of defending himself from bandits, brigands, gnolls and even trolls. Along the way he encountered many different individuals who all sought the hermit for their own reasons, and these individuals joined him in his quest to find the hermit. Upon reaching the hermit, they had discovered that this particular hermit was not as he appeared. He was, in fact, a powerful evil spirit that trapped Asaan and his friends within an alternate dimension that separated themselves from each other and forced them to face their greatest fears. Asaan's greatest fear was to be rejected by the great and powerful beasts that he had seen overhead in his youth. This fear was so devastating that the warrior nearly took his own life out of despair and hopelessness. But his friends managed to defeat their fears just in time to call out to him and pulled him back to his senses, breaking the evil spirit's spell. Now enraged at having his dreams toyed in such a manner, he charged the evil spirit with his blade and brought it down to cut it in two but he went right through it as the spirit merely laughed at him before blasting him off of the mountain with a powerful spell.

The rest of Asaan's memory after that point is a blur.. a foggy, hazy blur.

His only memory or recollection is that of himself waking up in the middle of a grassy field, his body aching and every inch of his form screaming in pain and agony.. and he noticed his body felt thicker, heavier and odd. As his eyes opened, he saw that he was staring out across a snout of reptilian nature and then he quickly determined his body was now in the shape of a dragon. Overwhelmed with pure joy and exaltation of his newfound situation, he bursted into tears and wept at his greatest wish having come true above all else. He never once stopped to think about how this came to be, and he feared this was all a dream as he bit down onto his own wrist to feel the pain and hoped it would rouse him if it was fake.. but found he did not wake. He was now, and forevermore trapped in the body of a large male dragon. As he recoiled, watching his own red blood oozing from the wound he inflicted upon himself he took a moment to try and gather his thoughts on how he came to be trapped in this form, remembering only the fight upon the mountain and being blown off of it by the evil spirit. Having no recollection thereafter.. believing himself suffering from amnesia, he decided to go out and search for his companions--but neither the mountain in which the Hermit resided nor his friends were anywhere in sight.

ANATOMY/POWERS & ABILITIES: Being a Red Dragon, Asuroth possesses all of the abilities available to that race. Being as he was not a naturally born red dragon he does not register as a 'true' chromatic dragon to members of Tiamat's faith, and feels more like a 'copy' or faked version of such a creature. But regardless of such, he has a wide array of abilities and powers as well as having certain key aspects of his anatomy that are not readily common to the dragons of this world. Like with all other Red Dragons, he exhibits and extremely inflated opinion of himself and his abilities and does not suffer criticism well. Whereas other Reds would take criticism or insults as personal threats upon their Ego or Pride, Asuroth brushes them off with barely a glance of acknowledgement. Due to his abilities and high-durability and highly damaging physical attacks he is justified in believing himself to be invincible when he really is not; he can be defeated as any other dragon can be, but he can endure far more punishment and can hit as hard as any dragon of two age categories higher than himself with relative ease. He also enjoys beating down smaller dragons if they annoy him before consuming them whole and letting them digest in his gizzard as a lesson not to cross him in the future. He has a fondness for humanoids and mortals and will often extend to them great courtesies and liberties. He lacks an actual lair or hoard and just wanders aimlessly, seeking a female to roost with.

Hook-Claws: The hooked claws on his large wings allow him to scale mountainous regions as well as to hang from such outcroppings with relative ease, easily able to hold up his own body weight as well as others and suspend his body off of the ground.

Feline-like Paws: Both his foreclaws and hindclaws have catlike pawpads on their undersides, these pads allow him to move quietly and stalk through the underbrush. His foreclaws also lack opposable thumbs and thus he is incapable of being able to grip anything in them.

Reptilian Jaws: His teeth are designed for gripping and tearing into the flesh of his prey or holding them firm. His tongue can extend up to ten-feet in length and is fully prehensile and quite strong, fully capable of wrapping around a human's body and crushing them not unlike a snake's coils, the tongue also has a potent adhesive trait to his saliva that oozes from it capable of sticking anything he latches it around to the tongue. His maw has a jaw pressure approximately three-times stronger than that of a crocodile's maw snapping shut, and they are wide and large that permit him to swallow his prey down whole. Lacking a uvula and possessing a wide gullet, on either side at the back of his throat are two slits where the organs are located that assist him in breathing his fiery breath weapon.

Hypnotic Gaze: Some individuals who stare deeply into his glowing bright green eyes will find themselves drawn into them.. unable to look away and himself also unable to look away. Whilst so enthralled, the victim will be unable to do anything besides casually approach the male dragon without fear of anything. Paying no heed to any dangers between them. Once the hypnotic gaze has affected the target, even if the dragon looks away the victim will be compelled to approach the dragon. This power, however, does not affect everyone. Acute Senses: As with all dragons; Asuroth's senses have all been massively enhanced... able to smell, hear, see and taste things that very few other creatures can (aside from other dragons, of course!). His eyesight is 20/20 perfect and capable of seeing across vast distances with perfect clarity, his sense of smell is able to pick up fine smells up to a mile away, his hearing able to pick up even the faintest of sounds within his direct vicinity (up to 20 meters away), and his taste is able to pick up every single flavor in the food he is consuming--even flavors that other creatures were previously unaware of in their food. The only sense that suffers is his sense of touch, as his scales prevent him from directly being able to feel things clearly. Though he seems to gravitate more towards things of a softer texture as opposed to hard.

Aerodynamic Fins: The fins along his neck and across the base of his tail serve as flying aids, that when unfolded aid him at moving through the air with relative ease. By unfolding them before launching himself forwards or backwards, he can increase the distance a dragon would normally travel by double as well as making it so that when he's flying he can move at double the speed of a typical dragon.

Armored Hide: The thick armored hide of a dragon has always been as good as any suit of full platemail armor on a human or other mortal race, Asuroth's coat of dragonscales is far more protective than even that. The scales are inlaid with a microscopic trace amount of gemstones that are natural magic resonators; what this means is that whenever he's hit with a magical spell be it beneficial or hostile he will absorb all of that spell's effective damage or beneficial effect and it forms a sharp barrier of energy across his entire body. This barrier will completely and utterly reflect the next magical attack sent at him back at the attacker. His hide is about as thick as a dragon two age categories higher than what he is, rendering him quite durable to damage. The armored hide also makes him unlucky in the fact if he is ever consumed whole by another creature, he'd be rolling around in their gut for an almost indefinite amount of time as his hide would quite easily repel the acids from being able to chemically alter his body to make him easier to digest. Basically meaning he'd take a hundred years to digest if someone ate him.

Omnivore: His diet consists primarily of meat, but he is capable of devouring any kind of raw matter. He prefers to consume diamonds as they aid in his digestion of extremely durable meals by pulverizing them inside of his gizzard and allowing his gastric juices to process them better, upon finishing his meal off he will regurgitate any bones, left-overs, and the gemstones out of his gullet and onto the ground. His gullet is perfectly designed to allow him to regurgitate without feeling nauseous or sick, and his digestive system is relatively slow--taking a full day to digest a single human-sized meal, and can take up to a week if he consumes enough meat. If he manages to devour a dragon, they can expect to spend a long time inside of his gizzard though his enzymes are painless and entice a VERY appealing aphrodisiac effect upon his prey. His saliva, whilst super-adhesive, also possesses the same aphrodisiac quality, likely pushing certain creatures into a full on sexual rutt or heat. If his prey find themselves inside of his internal testes, they will be slowly processed into his fertile dragon semen over the course of a day. Though some.. become sentient even as his semen, but unable to leave. Some can reform after being ejaculated back into their original selves, others can become permanently trapped between his hindlegs forevermore as nothing but pure dragon seed.

Molten Breath: Unlike most chromatic dragons he possesses two powerful breath weapons. The first is a stream of super-concentrated heat that sets the air on fire as he exhales it, causing the breath weapon to be focused into a beam that causes EXTREME burning damage as well as incinerating the surrounding area around it in a flash blaze that does not catch things on fire. The second breath weapon is the ability to regurgitate a thick gooey mucus that quickly turns into a burning pile of sludge that resembles lava more than anything else, and carrying with it the same properties as the molten blood of the Earth. This naturally-created mucus lava, cools off three-times faster than regular lava and does not move once disgorged from his gullet. He can quickly reshape this lava as it causes no harm to himself due to his natural immunity to fire and heat, in order to shape it into whatever he needs. In this effect, he can create for himself a den made of what appears to be solid obsidian as the hardened mucus has the same consistency as obsidian when cooled. He can only use his magma breath when there is nothing currently digesting inside of his gizzard. On top of this he can regurgitate a great pile of mucus from his gullet to pile onto a victim, this mucus will very much cause the individual to be stuck to whatever surface they are on until the dragon removes them.

Brutal Roar: Possessing four lungs and a vastly more evolved windpipe to handle the vocalizations, Asuroth's roar is far stronger than other dragons and his voice can actually be raised to tones that can make him easily the loudest creature in the entire region. His roar, when fully unleashed with no restraints, causes a massive shockwave of force that blasts the area around him with super-strong kinetic waves that can shatter the ground, explode the earth beneath him, shatter windows, flatten cars, sunder trees and can even turn certain creatures nearby him into exploding clouds of red mist if they are weak enough. This roar can also be focused into a direction that will slam whatever in front of him with enough force that it'd send a dragon up to twice his size and weight flying without effort and can easily shatter bones and/or critically damage their scales to render their defenses useless. The kinetic force is not just brutal direct point-to-point and it is fully capable of bypassing the armor entirely and fucking up the internals of the creature directly hit by it. Short story? If he hits you with his roar directly? You are going to be badly injured and likely close to death, for it ignores natural armor entirely.

Chaotic Fury: Being a particular breed of Red Dragon has it's perks as well as drawbacks. Asuroth possesses in him a rare strand of genetic code that causes his temper to fuel his powers and abilities inexplicably to a far greater degree, especially if his rage is spurred on by the desire to protect a loved one or a friend. If he hits this 'enrage' timer of sorts, all of his abilities are doubled in ferocity and power but he uses up twice as much stamina to utilize them. A direct hit from his Brutal Roar whilst he is thusly fueled by his Chaotic Fury will instantly KILL whatever it directly hits as well as completely destroying everything in it's path REGARDLESS of it's durability. His physical attacks are also laced with pure Entropic Power which causes his melee strikes to hit the target with energy that ignores any and ALL defenses in place to deliver full damage to them--it ignores magical immunities, resistances, thick and durable armor. Essentially rendering whomever is hit to take full damage from his attacks regardless (aka: DON'T GET HIT). His breath weapon whilst fully empowered turns green from fiery orange and it leaves a distortion of reality around it instead of setting the air on fire, this breath weapon can also travel twice as far as before and can bore a hole directly through whatever target it hits. Fire-immune creatures take full damage from the breath weapon because it is now Chaos energy (and creatures cannot become immune to Chaos effects, even creatures who specifically state they are immune to chaos energy will take damage; but only half as much as a normal creature), his molten slag breath is unaffected.

Whilst in this state, his eyes will blank out and glow a bright green color; crackles of red and black power will surge over his scales, and his facial expression will change to one of pure hatred and rage. The ONLY thing that can pull him out of this rage when he becomes this consumed with Fury is either Ries, the death of the thing that provoked him, or his own death. If he dies whilst this fury is in effect, his body will explode with raw chaotic power that will completely annihilate anything within a hundred-meter distance of him. Though his body charges up for several minutes before he explodes.

Power of the Phoenix-Dragon: Asuroth's true nature is revealed. Possessing the raw power of a Phoenix and a Dragon combined. Whenever Asuroth would suffer damage that would normally cause his death, his corpse will be left behind--rendered completely immune to all damage, almost as if shielded by some divine or otherworldly force. Whilst in this dormant state, he will be resurrected back to life on his own accord within ten to twenty minutes. The process is painful and it leaves him greatly weakened, suffering from the same effects as one would if they had been resurrected by any other method (Resurrection Sickness). If he suffers an attack that would normally destroy the body of another creature (digestion, disintegration, etc...) his skeleton is left behind and it is his flesh that is destroyed. This skeleton will gruesomely regenerate itself back to full health after ten to twenty minutes, and the process of his regeneration CAN cause other creatures in the vicinity to become violently ill. If he is killed within twenty-four hours of his self-resurrection, he is killed permanently and must be brought back by other means.

SEXUAL INFORMATION: Asuroth is a male dragon that predominantly only is attracted towards females, he might feel -some- attraction to Hermaphrodites but ONLY if they are more female than male.. he will NEVER allow a penis to come near his orifices, and if one tries to force them upon him he will attempt to bite off or injury the male genitalia in a very permanent fashion (AKA, he'll castrate you). If he desires to mount a humanoid he has access to an ability that allows himself to alter his size to horse-sized for the duration of that breeding session, though most females whom he breeds with have an extremely high chance of becoming impregnated with his fertile dragon seed. The semen also has an off-chance to transform females he breeds with, if they anthromorphic non-dragons or humanoids without any draconic blood or features into full-bodied feral dragons. This transformation is painful and will likely render the female completely exhausted and fatigued, but it has no chance of outright killing them despite this. If his semen recently absorbed someone else into it they will further enhance the fertility chance of his seed when he releases himself inside of a female creature.

He is a very excitable and friendly dragon, as it takes very little to spur this dragon into acts of breeding or mating with a female; he's more hesitant around hermaphrodites, and males don't even have a chance in hell to get him to have sex with them (if you ask anyway I will likely ignore you). Females who are not reptiles cannot become pregnant with his seed, only reptiles are capable of it as the female must have the ability to lay eggs AND does not cross the species barrier across dragons. The only exception to this are dragons which are mammals, avians, or aquatic in nature and not reptilian. Female dragons will almost ALWAYS become pregnant after mating with him, and he has the stamina to undergo extremely long periods of breeding. His testicles are very efficient at replenishing his seed, and his phallic muscles are very capable of enduring extremely lengthy periods of breeding allowing him to easily engage in sexual intercourse for many hours before showing signs of becoming tired. His knot acts differently from other male creatures--he can cause his knot to swell or deflate at will, allowing him to quickly pry off of a female if he is required to defend either of them from hunters, slayers or rival dragons. Females who mate with him are permanently marked by his seed, and that scent will NEVER fully fade away. They will always have some lingering trace that they are HIS in some fashion.

Asuroth is both a Predator, as well as very rarely is a Prey (he is prey ONLY to female dragons who are large enough to consume him, nothing else!).

Physically Asuroth is a warrior-dragon and does not focus on the innate spell-like abilities of his kind very much, as he does not understand how magic works as a dragon as he is still adjusting to his new body.
