She was a clean up woman for a local mob, she'll never say which one, best to keep operational security later in one's life. Especially with all she's done. Someone makes a mess in a job, she goes in as quick as can be to clean up any evidence. Though if there's too much to clean up because of someone bumbling up hard, a judicious amount of bleach, some kerosene, and telling the fool they best skip out fast. Arson is the least of the things she does though, having an appetite she likes to sate and sometimes it was a good way to get rid of a witness.

Not everything turns out how one expects though, her job was upheaved when dissent rose up in her country. The present regime was getting too fat on the labour of the people, and complacent in its position as well. Civil war came, far more felt they had nothing to lose than those who did. A desire for more freedom took hold and being the self interested individual she was, saw opportunity as well. While not gang pressed into joining, many people felt the pressure to do so. Though not everyone serves on the frontlines, people with the right talents and capabilities were always needed for the less pleasant work. So there she was for several years, raiding supply depots, setting distractions, and general wet work a burgeoning rebellion needed.

That opportunity came near the end of the regime's time, in a position with her compatriots she served with, they raided the country's treasury, finding officials from the collapsing government trying to make off with as much as they could carry. She did relish stopping them and even more so taking some of those riches for herself. It was better a half dozen people make off with life changing money than all the coffers being drained for the wretches in the former regime. Even the burdgeoning new government saw it as well, chosing not to pursue her and her cadre. Why fuss over a few million for a job well done as opposed to the take and burn approach the former rulers were taking for the treasury? A few million lost to save billions, relatively small price to be paid.

Needless to say she retired, albeit somewhere still far away from her home country. Best to part ways on good terms as she saw it. So she spends her days enjoying her early retirement. While she does like a good champagne on occasion, best not to draw attention and thus questions. Not so much modest but easy to fade into the background kind of living.
