An interesting boy. Under normal circumstances, Arii appears to be a human of young adult age. He has some interesting features, certainly, chiefly among them the fact that his hair is snow-white and shaggy, having a texture almost like a dog's fur, and that his eyes are, interestingly, the color of ice. He also seems to have sharper teeth than are normal for humans, and a demeanor that, at times, feels like that of a cornered animal, rather than a rational human.
Arii, you see, is a werewolf, a state of being that is often evidenced by his fairly frequent transformations into a feral arctic wolf, occasionally taking a 'hybrid' form between the two, becoming a morphic wolf. Oddly, he seems fairly in control during these transformations, despite the usual attitude of the average lycanthrope.
The secret, of course, is experience. Arii had the misfortune of being bitten as a very young child, and has spent the intervening years largely alone, with only the wolf in the back of his mind for company. And over the years, the two came to an agreement.
The wolf would never take over completely and drive Arii to be a murderous beast... if, and only if, Arii would promise to 'let the wolf out' as often as he could, and not fight the transformations when the Wolf wanted to be free.
With this deal governing his life, Arii has been, for the most part, much happier, even coming to enjoy the freedom of being a wolf, rather than a human...
Arii is usually fairly gruff, mistrusting of most. But often, should one make the effort, he warms up to people who demonstrate no intent to do him harm, and given time, can make for a loyal friend.
